About GlowNow

GlowNow Cleaning Services is a premium apartment cleaning company in Waterloo, Ontario. Our clients are students and young professionals living in the apartment buildings and residences around the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University, including ICON, Society, Rez One, King Street Towers, UW Residences, and Accommod8u. Clients book and pay online and expect a professional, thorough clean every single time.

We have completed over 200 cleans with a 4.9 star average rating, and we are hiring experienced professional cleaners to keep up with demand.

We are hiring professional cleaners only

This is not an entry level job and we do not provide cleaning training. We are looking for someone who already cleans professionally, knows how to deliver a detailed and consistent result without supervision, and takes real pride in their work. If you have professional cleaning experience and your own professional equipment, we want to hear from you.

Must haves (please read before applying)

- Professional cleaning experience: at least 1 year of paid cleaning experience, for example with a cleaning company, hotel, janitorial service, or your own residential clients. Be ready to tell us where you have worked and provide a reference.
- Your own professional cleaning equipment: you must already own professional cleaning equipment and supplies and bring them to every job. This includes a vacuum, mop and bucket, microfibre cloths, scrub brushes, and professional grade cleaning products. Only apply if you have your own equipment.
- Live near the universities: all of our work is in buildings around the University of Waterloo and Wilfrid Laurier University. You must live close to the two campuses so you can get to bookings on time,



including same day and back to back jobs.
- Reliable and on time: you show up at the scheduled time, fully prepared, every time.
- Works independently: comfortable working alone in a client's unit and cleaning to a high standard without being supervised.
- Professional communication with clients and the GlowNow team.

What you will be doing

- Standard, deep, move-in, move-out, and post-party cleans in apartment units
- Kitchens (including inside fridges, ovens, and microwaves on deep cleans), bathrooms, floors, dusting, surface wiping, and trash removal
- Checking in with the GlowNow team before and after each job

What we offer

- $30 per hour
- Flexible schedule: pick the time slots that work for you. Bookings run 7 days a week, 8am to 8pm, including mornings, evenings, and weekends
- Short travel between jobs, since all of our clients are in a small area around the two campuses
- We find the clients and handle all booking and payment. You just show up and clean
- Steady, growing work with a local business, with more bookings available as you prove yourself
