Overview

We are a local, family-owned boutique optical shop looking for a friendly, reliable and personable team member to join our sales floor.

This is a slower-paced, boutique-style environment where we take our time with customers and treat every person like family. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, has a good eye for style and can confidently work independently.

Responsibilities:

- Welcome customers and provide friendly, personalized service
- Help customers choose frames based on their style, needs and budget
- Assist with eyeglasses and sunglasses sales
- Help with frame adjustments, fittings and basic eyewear care
- Enter invoices, orders and customer information
- Assist with insurance direct billing and paperwork
- Answer phones and customer questions
- Follow up with customers regarding orders
- Keep the showroom organized, clean and welcoming
- Work independently and handle day-to-day tasks when alone in the store
- Provide excellent customer service from start to finish

The ideal candidate:

- Friendly, outgoing and comfortable speaking with customers
- Good at sales without being pushy
- Has an interest in fashion, eyewear and personal style
- Organized and comfortable using computers
- Reliable, responsible and punctual




- Able to work independently without constant supervision
- Comfortable handling invoices, paperwork and customer information
- Willing to learn optical products and procedures
- Previous optical, eyewear, retail, fashion, sales or customer-service experience is an asset
- Optical experience is not required — training can be provided for the right person

Hours: Approximately 10–30 hours per week depending on availability and business needs. Location: London, Ontario
