Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking farm hand to join our sanctuary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for farming and a willingness to learn various aspects of farm operations. This role requires physical stamina, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
The farm hand will assist in the day-to-day operations of the farm, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and safely. Must have a background in handling large farm animals.
Responsibilities
- Feeding and handling and other care of all livestock and small animals
- Stall and paddock daily maintenance
- Keeping barn and grounds clean and organized
- Operating farm machinery and equipment, including tractors and power tools.
- Engaging in heavy lifting and physical labor as required by daily farm activities.
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
Work Location: In person
