Don Poulin Potatoes Inc is seeking a reliable Farm Production Worker for a position at our indoor potato packaging and distribution facility. Unlike seasonal fieldwork, this role takes place inside our production site, focusing on the post-harvest stage of our operations. You will be a key part of our team, responsible for ensuring only top-quality potatoes are graded, bagged, and palletized safely and efficiently for our customers.

Core Responsibilities & Tasks

- Quality Grading: Inspect potatoes on the sorting line, identifying and removing defects, stones, and damaged produce to meet strict quality standards.
- Bagging & Packaging: Efficiently bag potatoes into various commercial sizes using automated and manual packaging equipment.
- Palletizing: Lift, stack, and secure filled potato bags onto pallets according to specific patterns and safety requirements.
- Inventory & Prep: Assist in moving pallets, setting up packaging materials, and labeling bags accurately.
- Sanitation: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe indoor warehouse and washing environment.

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements

- Environment: Indoors in a warehouse/production facility. The environment can be cool, damp, and dusty depending on the season.
- Physical Stamina: Extended periods of standing in one place on the sorting line, bending, and repetitive movements.
- Weight Handling:



Frequent heavy lifting required (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs) when stacking and palletizing bags.

Qualifications & Skills

- Experience: Previous warehouse, production line, or agricultural packaging experience is a strong asset, but we will train dependable candidates.
- Education: No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Core Competencies: Excellent hand-eye coordination, attention to detail to spot defects, and the ability to maintain a steady pace on a production line.
- Soft Skills: High reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work well in a close team environment.
