Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and tailored tutoring sessions to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Assess students’ strengths and areas for improvement to create customized learning plans
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence and curiosity
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators to track progress and address concerns
- Utilize various teaching methods and educational resources to enhance understanding of core subjects such as math, science, language arts, and social studies
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and session outcomes
- Adapt tutoring approaches based on individual student needs and learning styles
Experience
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience working with children or adolescents is required
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Experience working within classroom settings or educational environments is advantageous
- Passion for education and helping students succeed through motivating and supportive interactions
- Ability to manage multiple sessions efficiently while maintaining a positive attitude
