Duties

- Assist residents with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote independence and dignity
- Administer medications accurately following prescribed schedules and protocols
- Support patients with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs to ensure proper health and hydration
- Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia or hospice needs, ensuring comfort and safety at all times
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic living environment for residents




- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to prevent injury and support residents’ physical well-being
- Document care provided, report changes in residents’ conditions, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams

Experience

- Previous experience working as a health care aide or caregiver in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Familiarity with patient care procedures, medication administration, and senior care best practices
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia enhances your ability to provide personalized support
- Knowledge of hospice care principles is an asset for compassionate end-of-life support
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle physically demanding tasks with professionalism
- Strong caregiving skills combined with excellent communication and empathy are essential for success in this role
