End of the Roll Flooring Centres is looking for a detail-oriented Financial Analyst to join our Corporate Office in Kelowna, BC. You will use your knowledge of current economic conditions and market trends to analyze financial data, assess business performance, and provide insights that support sound business decisions for our Canada-wide franchise network.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Financial Analyst plays a key role in budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, performance measurement, and strategic business initiatives. Working closely with the Controller and Finance team, this position ensures financial analyses are based on accurate and reliable information and translates financial data into meaningful insights.

The Financial

Analyst will also collaborate with franchise owners and managers to interpret financial results, identify trends and opportunities, and provide practical recommendations that support informed business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in preparing annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts for the national franchise network.
- Gather and analyze financial data from various sources to support reporting and analysis.
- Develop and maintain financial models to aid decision making and performance projections.
- Prepare routine financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management to review.
- Conduct variance analysis, comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
- Support strategic initiatives by performing research and financial calculations.
- Collaborate with accounting and other departments to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Calculate and remit monthly and quarterly tax remittances for applicable franchise locations.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting,



business administration or a related discipline.
- CPA, CFA or other relevant professional designations, or progress toward a designation, is an asset.
- A minimum of three years’ experience in financial planning and analysis, management reporting, commercial finance or business analytics.
- Experience in franchise, multi-location retail, distribution, building products or consumer services is an asset.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modelling skills; experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence tools is strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, profitability analysis, key performance indicators and business case development.
- Ability to work with large datasets while maintaining accuracy, consistency and confidentiality.
- Ability to communicate effectively.

- Able to communicate findings clearly through concise writing, effective presentations and well-designed reporting.

- Collaborative and comfortable working with finance, operations, franchisees and senior leadership.

- Annual salary of $70,000 - $90,000 based on experience.

Measures of Success Success in this role is demonstrated through accurate forecasting, timely and meaningful reporting, and clear analysis of franchise performance. The Financial Analyst improves the quality and efficiency of financial information and provides practical recommendations that support sound financial and operational decision making.
