Your days will include:

- Leading, training, and supporting team members in food safety and regulatory activities
- Enhancing food safety programs to meet and exceed CFIA and SQF requirements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal CFIA personnel and cross-functional teams.
- Supporting investigations of customer complaints and internal feedback to develop effective corrective actions.
- Participating in recall activities, external auditing, and ensuring ongoing compliance of the Food Safety Management System.
- Coordinating special projects, including documentation, planning, and execution.




- Acting as backup SQF Practitioner and supporting the Senior Manager with regulatory responses.

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

- A degree in Food Science or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in HACCP and/or Quality Assurance.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and regulatory requirements (HACCP, GMPs; Six Sigma an asset).
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills for cross-functional teamwork
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills in fast-paced settings.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and adaptability to other software applications.
- Initiative, flexibility, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
