Position: Forensic / Toxicological Chemist
Type: Contract
Compensation: $65–$75/hour
Location: Remote
Role Responsibilities
- Write challenging single-turn prompts in chemistry and chemical safety, labeled as benign, dual-use, or adversarial.
- Evaluate model responses against a defined policy standard and judge correctness.
- Write reference answers with technical reasoning for correct responses.
- Collaborate with experts to ensure models draw reliable lines between routine and dangerous queries.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve AI model performance.
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Experience in controlled substance casework in a forensic laboratory.
- Background in clandestine laboratory response and precursor identification.
- Expertise in forensic toxicology, postmortem, or human performance casework.
- Experience in seized-drug and precursor trend monitoring or intelligence analysis.
- Robust technical writing, published research, or expert witness experience.
