Position Summary: We are a local, family owned and operated Bakery Cafe, that serves only gluten free baked goods. We serve a variety of goods, from breads to cakes. The Front of House Team Member is the face of our bakery, responsible for delivering warm, friendly, and productive customer service. This role ensures every guest feels welcomed while maintaining a clean, organized, and beautifully presented front counter. It is a full-time position (35-40hrs/week).

Key Responsibilities

- Customer Service: Take orders- in person and over the phone, assemble pre-orders, offer knowledgeable recommendations, and handle customer feedback with professionalism and care
- Cash Handling & POS: Operate point-of-sale system accurately, balancing the cash drawer at the start and end of day
- Product Presentation: Set up and maintain bakery display cases and retail shelves, restocking products throughout the day
- Food & Beverage Preparation: Prepare coffee, tea, specialty beverages,



and food menu items as trained, package baked goods
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain cleanliness of front counter, displays, and seating areas, wash dishes

Qualifications & Skills:
- Friendly, outgoing personality with strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail
- Knowledge of a gluten-free diet and allergies an asset.
