Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of fuel oil over short distances while operating a truck with a capacity of at least 26,000 lbs. Gross Vehicle Weight (GVW).

Duties

- Safely operate trucks to transport and deliver fuel oil to various locations
- Load and unload product using appropriate equipment
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues
- Maintain accurate driving logs and required documentation
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company procedures
- Transport and handle dangerous goods safely and in accordance with applicable regulations

Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of commercial driving experience required
- Experience operating heavy equipment
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Excellent customer service and communication skills

- Criminal record check
- Valid driver's licence check

- Pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspection reports

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour
