The Community Counselling Centre of Nipissing seeks a full-time Clinical Therapist. This role focuses on delivering effective counseling services for individuals, couples, youth, and families dealing with mental health, trauma, and addictions. Your expertise in trauma-informed care and collaboration with community partners will enrich client outcomes and program effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments and create individualized treatment plans • Provide therapy to diverse client populations • Facilitate group counseling and psychoeducation sessions • Manage crises and implement appropriate interventions • Refer clients to community resources and advocate on their behalf
Requirements: • Master’s degree in a relevant field or BSW with registration • At least 2 years of clinical experience • Experience working with adults and youth • Robust knowledge of trauma-informed practices • Clear Vulnerable Sector Criminal Record Check
