G2 Gas Technician – High-Efficiency Boiler Installer

About the Position

We are looking for an experienced G2 Gas Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience, with strong experience in the installation of high-efficiency boilers and hydronic heating systems.

This is a hands-on position suited for a reliable, skilled technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and professional customer service.

Responsibilities

- Install, pipe, and commission high-efficiency boilers
- Install and service hydronic heating systems
- Perform gas piping and appliance connections in accordance with applicable codes
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings and installation specifications
- Complete start-up, testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of boiler systems
- Diagnose and resolve installation and equipment issues
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with TSSA requirements and applicable Ontario codes
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, and other trades
- Complete required job documentation and service reports

Requirements





- Valid G2 Gas Technician certification in Ontario
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Gas Technician
- Proven experience installing high-efficiency boilers
- Solid knowledge of hydronic heating systems
- Ability to read drawings and understand piping layouts
- Knowledge of Ontario gas codes and safety requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Professional attitude and good communication skills
