Responsibilities

Design Original Merchandise - focus on Christmas Merch with a cinema emphasis

Design and create promotional materials for special events

Create appealing Gift bundles from Hyland merchandiseDesign

Select and purchase materials for wrapping

Be able to shop and pick up items needed (we provide gas reimbursement)

Prepare items for display

Photograph items and upload on to website (very easy system)

Fulfill items as ordered

Create speciality cards/labels

Skills

Excellent knowledge of Indie film so you can think of movie related merchandise

You need strong creative skills to create clever and unusual merch

Excellent Photoshop skills (if you have Illustrator and InDesign, even better!)

Drawing skills are important to help create original merch

Good Photography skills to take photos of merch for website

Experience in designing Tshirts, Craft items

*Have your own Circut or similar machine to help make speciality items (if you spend way too much time at Micheal's, even better)





Excellent product presentation skills

Gift basket wrapping, combining merchandise into appealing bundles

Good computer skills - able to upload photos and enter in item prices and highlights (program is very easy)

Experience buying items for packaging
