We are looking for a detail-oriented Guitar Quality Control Inspector to join our team at Yorkville Sound, Pickering. The ideal candidate would be a reliable, safety-conscious individual, who will inspect acoustic and electric guitars to make sure they meet our high-quality standards. Your work ensures that every instrument plays and looks excellent before it reaches the customer.
Inspect raw wood parts, hardware, and finished guitars for defects. Test electronic components like pickups, switches, and jacks on electric guitars. Play basic chords and notes to test overall play ability and sound quality.
Document inspection results and track common manufacturing issues. Clean and polish instruments for final packaging. High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to play guitar Strong knowledge of guitar anatomy, hardware, and electronics.
Basic computer skills to log inventory and inspection reports.
