Spartaks Fitness Equipment is looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Gym Equipment Sales Specialist to join our team.

You will be responsible for in-store sales, customer service, and providing professional equipment recommendations to customers based on their fitness goals, available space, budget, and training needs.

Responsibilities

- Welcome customers and provide professional, friendly service in our showroom
- Handle in-store gym equipment sales from initial customer inquiry through to purchase
- Understand customer needs and recommend the right equipment for their home gym, garage gym, or commercial facility
- Explain equipment features, functions, specifications, and differences between models
- Demonstrate equipment and help customers understand how to use it
- Provide accurate pricing, quotes, and product information
- Follow up with customers and convert inquiries into sales
- Maintain robust product knowledge across racks, functional trainers, Smith machines, benches, weights, and other fitness equipment
- Keep the showroom clean, organized, and professionally presented
- Assist with basic sales administration, inventory checks, and customer orders
- Work with the warehouse and installation team to coordinate customer deliveries and installations
- Build positive long-term relationships with customersWhat We're Looking For
- Sales or customer service experience preferred





The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in fitness and gym equipment and enjoys helping people find the right equipment.

You don't need to be a personal trainer, but you should be comfortable discussing strength training, home gyms, and different types of fitness equipment. Product training will be provided.

Compensation

$15–$25/hour + sales commission, depending on experience and performance.

Position

Full-time / Part-time available

This is an in-store position at our fitness equipment showroom. The successful candidate will play an important role in helping customers choose the right equipment while contributing directly to store sales and growth.

- Fitness industry or gym experience is an asset

Pay: $15.00-$25.00 per hour Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
