partaks Fitness Equipment is looking for a reliable, hands-on Gym Equipment Technician to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, delivery, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of commercial and home gym equipment. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, mechanical equipment, and solving problems.

Responsibilities

- Install and assemble gym equipment at customer locations
- Deliver fitness equipment to residential and commercial customers
- Perform equipment inspections, maintenance, adjustments, and repairs
- Troubleshoot mechanical and cable-related issues
- Assemble racks, Smith machines, functional trainers, benches, and other fitness equipment
- Safely move and position heavy gym equipment
- Read and follow installation manuals, diagrams, and instructions
- Identify damaged or defective components and report issues
- Perform warranty service and customer repairs
- Ensure equipment is properly assembled, secure, and functioning safely
- Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and installation supplies
- Assist with warehouse duties when required
- Provide professional and respectful service at customer locations

Qualifications




- Previous experience with gym equipment installation, repair, construction, mechanical work, or similar work is an asset
- Robust mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to read assembly instructions and diagrams
- Physically capable of lifting and moving heavy equipment
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's licence is preferred
- Experience with fitness equipment is an assetImportant Requirements

This is a hands-on position that involves physical work, equipment delivery, and installation. The successful candidate must be comfortable working with tools, lifting heavy equipment, travelling to customer locations, and working both independently and as part of a team.

Candidates with experience in mechanical work, equipment installation, construction, automotive repair, millwright work, or similar trades are encouraged to apply.

Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
