Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in heavy equipment repair, as well as proficiency in using various power and hand tools. This role involves working with mining equipment ensuring they are properly maintained, and repaired to meet operational standards. Shop and Field positions available.

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of mining equipment
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct inspections to identify issues or malfunctions in equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot problems and implement solutions.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
- Assist with heavy lifting and moving of equipment as necessary.

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in heavy equipment diesel repair.
- Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for assembly and repairs.




- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
- Experience working with mining machinery is a plus.
- Basic welding skills are desirable but not mandatory.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a rapid-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60.00 per hour

Expected hours: 84.0 per week

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
