Job Summary:

We are seeking Licensed HET technician to work on equipment related to concrete surface works. The Mechanic will perform the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment in accordance with quality, safety and efficiency standards. We are a Union Company.

Requirements:

- Journeyperson HET Technician Certification.
- Minimum 5 years of experience working on heavy construction equipment.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, fuel, brake, steering, and powertrain systems.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing paving, grading, excavation, and aggregate equipment.
- Experience diagnosing and repairing grading and excavation equipment.
- Familiarity with GOMACO concrete paving equipment, Caterpillar equipment, John Deere equipment, Gradall equipment, skid steers, excavators, graders, rollers, and trucks.
- Ability to read and interpret service manuals, wiring diagrams, and hydraulic schematics.
- Experience using diagnostic software and electronic troubleshooting tools.
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 or 3 considered an asset). Clean Abstract
- Ability to weld and fabricate components is considered an asset.




- Ability to work independently and prioritize repairs in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Must provide own basic hand tools.
