Waypoint Centre for Mental Health Care is a 315-bed academic and teaching hospital that provides specialized mental health, addiction and geriatric care. Located on the shores of Georgian Bay, we serve some of the most complex and disadvantaged individuals in Ontario and are the sole provider of high-secure forensic mental health services in the province.
The Manager of Health System Integration and Partnerships is currently seeking a full-time Health System Integration Coordinator. The purpose of the position is to play a key role in supporting the successful implementation of Integration initiatives by coordinating activities, maintaining project progress, and facilitating collaboration with regional service providers. The Coordinator provides project, operational, administrative, and engagement support to the Health System Integration team and leadership to advance regional health system initiatives.
This position contributes to quality improvement efforts, and ongoing stakeholder engagement and relationship building to ensure initiatives are carried out effectively and aligned with system goals.
The Health System Integration
Coordinator works closely with the Health System Integration team and under the direct supervision of the Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Planning, organizing, and monitoring project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with project objectives and funding requirements, as applicable.
- Assisting in the development of reports including progress reports, performance metrics reports, and presentations to senior leaders, project sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams.
- Providing timely and up-to-date status information to senior leaders, project sponsors, stakeholders, and project teams as required.
- Taking appropriate action to keep projects on track as it relates to scope and schedule.
- Co-developing communication and marketing materials to advance project objectives and maintain alignment with organizational standards.
- Supporting regular partner governance and leadership tables.
- Establishing positive working relationships and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives.
REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:
- A university degree in healthcare, business, or related discipline is required.
- 3-5 years of experience supporting projects, programs, or organizational initiatives is required.
- Preference will be given to those with previous experience in health system design and implementation.
- Results oriented work ethic to work independently and undertake tasks needed to accomplish work objectives and deliver quality, consistent and timely results
- Demonstrated leadership, conflict resolution, interpersonal and organizational skills
- Proven written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to adapt readily to change and reflects an optimistic and positive attitude
- Models and promotes core ethical practice and Waypoint Values (Caring, Respect, Accountability, Innovation)
- Preference for proficiency in French/English language skills.
