Role Description The Housekeeper / House Cleaner (Independent Contractor) role is a contract position based on-site in Ottawa, ON. This role is responsible for performing residential and light commercial cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, bathroom and kitchen sanitization, surface cleaning, and basic organization according to structured workflows. Contractors use the Sensible Avenue platform and ISA tools to follow GPS-verified routes, complete checklists, and document work through dual-camera capture and timestamped logs.

Day-to-day activities include traveling between client locations,



communicating with clients and Sensible-Visor partners, adhering to safety and privacy guidelines, and maintaining consistent quality standards. The role requires reliable availability during agreed service windows, professional conduct in client spaces, and adherence to compliance and verification procedures.

Qualifications

- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, partners, and team members.
- Ability to support Training and basic Sales activities, such as explaining services and guiding clients through platform use when needed.
- Comfort using technology, including mobile apps and Microsoft Excel or similar tools, to follow workflows and record service data.
- Experience in housekeeping, residential cleaning, or facility support, with attention to detail and consistent quality standards.
- Reliable transportation to travel between job sites in Ottawa, ON, and ability to work in office in varied residential and commercial environments.
- Strong time management, organization, and ability to work independently as an independent contractor.
- Understanding of basic health, safety, and privacy practices; familiarity with compliance-focused environments is an asset.
- Ability to handle moderate physical activity, including standing, lifting, and moving cleaning equipment throughout a shift.
