About the Role

People are at the centre of what we do, and we’re looking for an HR Partner who is passionate about working with people, enjoys variety, and is ready to take on a role where no two days are quite the same.

Reporting to the HR Manager, the HR Partner will provide hands-on support across a variety of HR functions, with a particular focus on employee integration, international recruitment and immigration support. This role will work closely with employees, supervisors, managers and the broader HR team to help create a positive employee experience from recruitment through employment.

We’re looking for someone who is approachable, organized, resourceful and comfortable juggling multiple priorities. If you enjoy solving problems, supporting people and being involved in a little bit of everything HR, this could be a great fit.

What You'll Do

- Coordinate and support employees throughout various stages of the immigration process.
- Assist with immigration-related documentation, follow-up and administration.
- Help coordinate the arrival and initial integration of international employees into the workplace.
- Act as a point of contact for questions and support related to settling into a new workplace and community.
- Work with managers and supervisors to support the successful integration and retention of international employees.

Employee Support & HR Services

- Provide day-to-day HR support to employees and supervisors, responding to questions and helping resolve issues.
- Support employees with HR-related matters such as benefits, uniforms, policies, communications and other workplace programs.
- Assist with employee relations matters and provide support in managing more complex or difficult situations.

- Maintain confidentiality and exercise good judgment when handling sensitive employee information.
- Help ensure employees have the information and support they need throughout their employment.

Onboarding & Integration

- Support the onboarding process for new employees, including preparation, coordination and follow-up.
- Help ensure new employees have a smooth transition into their roles, teams and workplace.
- Work with supervisors and managers to identify and address integration or onboarding needs.
- Follow up with new employees and managers to help ensure a successful start.

Training & Employee Development

- Support the coordination and administration of employee training programs.
- Assist with training communications, scheduling, documentation and follow-up.
- Support supervisors with employee development and training initiatives.
- Participate in projects related to employee engagement, recognition and development.

Communication & HR Projects

- Support internal HR communications and employee-facing initiatives.
- Assist with employee events, recognition programs and other HR activities.
- Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience and HR processes.
- Contribute ideas and take initiative to improve how we support employees and managers.

Manager & Supervisor Support

- Provide day-to-day HR support and guidance to supervisors and managers.
- Assist with employee-related questions, attendance concerns, performance matters and workplace issues.
- Help managers navigate HR processes, policies and employee situations.

- Build strong working relationships with leaders across the organization.

What We're Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is people-focused, professional and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

You bring

- Approximately 5 plus years of experience in Human Resources or a related field.
- Experience supporting employees in an HR environment.
- Experience with international recruitment, immigration or employee integration is an asset.
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field is an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks, projects and priorities at the same time.
- A high level of discretion and the ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment.
- A proactive approach and willingness to take initiative.
- Flexibility and the ability to adapt when priorities change or the unexpected comes up.
- A genuine interest in supporting employees and working collaboratively with supervisors, managers and the HR team.
- The ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.

What You'll Bring to the Team

We’re looking for someone who is bright, approachable, organized and energetic, but above all, someone who genuinely enjoys working with people.

Things move quickly, there are always projects on the go, and priorities can change. We need someone who can roll with it, figure things out and keep moving forward — while still taking the time to make employees feel supported.

This is a outstanding opportunity for an HR professional who wants to build their experience, gain exposure to a broad range of HR functions and work alongside a team that values collaboration, initiative and a good sense of humour.
