Degree Residential

Lower Saint Marys

You’re Not Just Looking for a Job. You’re Building a Career.

At Degree Residential, we believe great technicians aren’t just hired—they’re developed.

We’re looking for a Second Block Apprentice or Journeyman HVAC and Refrigeration Technician to join our growing team. You’ll work on residential heat pumps and HVAC equipment, performing installations, maintenance, service, and warranty work while continuing to build the skills that will take your career further.

This isn’t a position where you’re expected to figure everything out on your own.

You’ll be part of a team of experienced technicians and installers who share knowledge, support one another, and take pride in doing the job right.

About Degree Residential

Degree Residential started with a campfire conversation between Murray Appleby and Robert (Bob) Hudson about one simple idea: the HVAC industry in Fredericton could be done differently.

That conversation became a company. That company became a movement.

Today, Degree Residential is one of Central New Brunswick’s trusted residential HVAC companies. We’ve been serving homeowners in Fredericton and the surrounding area for more than 20 years, and we continue to grow by investing in our people and delivering quality work.

We’re not trying to be the cheapest HVAC company in town.

We’re trying to be the company customers trust, technicians are proud to work for, and employees can build a career with.

If you take pride in your work, care about your customers, and want to continue growing as a technician, keep reading.

Why Degree Residential?

Build Your Skills

Whether you’re continuing your apprenticeship or already have your Journeyman certification, there’s always more to learn in HVAC and refrigeration.

You’ll work on a variety of residential equipment and systems, gaining experience with installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and warranty work.

Work With People Who Care About Quality

We don’t believe in rushing through jobs just to get to the next call.

We believe in diagnosing problems properly, doing quality work, and leaving the customer with a system that works the way it should.

You’ll Be Part of a Team

HVAC can be an independent trade, but that doesn’t mean you have to work alone.

Our technicians, installers, ventilation team, sales team, warehouse, and office staff all work together. When you need help, you have people you can rely on.

Keep Growing

We want people who want to get better.

As your skills and experience grow, so do the opportunities available to you.

We invest in training and development because we believe our company is only as strong as the people who make it up.

Build Something You’re Proud Of

At the end of the day, you won’t just have another workday behind you.

You’ll know you helped a homeowner stay comfortable, fixed a problem that was disrupting their life, or installed a system that will serve a family for years to come.

Our Values Aren’t Just Words on a Wall

Everything we do is guided by five core values:

Teamwork – Nobody wins alone. We show up for each other and pull in the same direction.

Integrity – We do what’s right—especially when no one is watching. Honest service built this company, and it’s non-negotiable.

Growth – If you’re not growing, you’re dying. We invest in learning, push ourselves to improve, and celebrate progress.

Tenacity – We earned our first customers by knocking on doors and walking into businesses. That grit still defines us.

Leadership – Leaders aren’t born from titles—they’re built through action. We lead by example at every level.
