North Eastern Ontario Family and Children's Services seeks an In-House Legal Counsel for a 12-month full time contract across NEOFACS. The role provides legal advice, opinions, and strategic guidance to child protection staff and represents the Agency before all levels of court.
The ideal candidate is a lawyer in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario, with knowledge of CYFSA (Part X) and PHIPA, strong litigation and negotiation skills, and a capacity to work with multidisciplinary teams.
