Target Salary Range:

$114,343 - $ 175,920 per year (salary to be determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data)

RESPONSIBILITIES

- She/He adheres to the various facets within the Safety. Environmental, Occupational Health and Responsible Care.
- She/He interacts with Colleagues in a way that reflects Evonik’s values of respect and inclusivity

- ​She/He is open to feedback and interacts positively with Mentors (site Manager, Sponsor, Senior Leaders).
- She/He takes responsibility for the assigned operations area (when in Operations) and the Facility as a whole.
- She/He analyzes process samples to maintain standard operating conditions.
- She/He contributes to the Noncompliance and event reporting system and contributes to subsequent investigations.




- She/He troubleshoots Instrumentation faults and takes the correct action to rectify control issues within the plants.
- She/He Maintains various analyzers within the facility.
- She/He maintains maintenance tracking systems and managed contractors that are involved with Instrumentation.
- She/He builds and takes ownership of Lockouts with their assigned transform (unit).

Requirements:

- Red Seal Instrumentation Technician certification AND/OR Instrumentation Technologist Diploma
- 4th Class Power Engineering certification is preferred, but school assistance will be provided to attain, for the right candidate.
- Fluent English language skills both orally and written Interest in a long term career in the Industrial Production and Technology field.

- Must be willing and comfortable working in a 24 hour shift environment.
- Must have experience troubleshooting basic control devices including temperature, pressure and level control systems.
- Must have experience working with gas analyzers.

- Must have good understanding of P&ID; loops.
- Must have experience working with Microsoft Office products (Word/Excel).
- Comfortable with communicating with third party vendors for support.

- Maintains a robust sense of responsibility for the Instrumentation offoice and the facilities upkeep
