Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Islamic Studies Teacher. The ideal candidate should have at least 5 years of experience working with children of all ages.

Fluent

Arabic and memorization of the Qur'an is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive Islamic Studies lessons to students in Grades 2 - 7

- Incorporate interactive teaching methods to engage students actively in discussions about Islamic history, ethics, and practices

- Collaborate with colleagues to integrate Islamic Studies into broader curricula and school activities

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree with strong preference for majors or minors in Islamic Studies or Arabic

- Robust knowledge of Islamic history, teachings, and cultural practices

- Experience working with children in educational settings; classroom experience preferred

- Familiarity with early childhood education principles for younger learners

Pay: $54,000.60-$75,000.00 per year
