Sylvan Electric is looking for a well-rounded Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across various residential, commercial, and industrial projects.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including wiring, lighting, outlets, circuit breakers, and control panels.
- Work with low voltage systems such as security alarms, communication lines, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Use hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks with precision.




- Collaborate with construction teams during renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical components.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Follow all safety protocols and electrical codes to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Qualifications

- Valid journeyman electrician license or certification demonstrating completion of an approved apprenticeship program.
- Proven experience as a residential and commercial electrician or in a similar construction environment.
- Strong ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Hands-on experience with low voltage wiring, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), and schematics.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment.
- Knowledge of renovation processes and experience working on diverse construction sites.
