Responsibilities

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to guide installation and repair work.
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control panels.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete wiring tasks, conduit bending, and fixture installation.
- Conduct inspections of existing electrical systems during renovation projects to ensure compliance with safety standards and code requirements.
- Program and troubleshoot programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in industrial automation processes.




- Diagnose electrical issues using schematics and testing equipment; perform repairs or replacements as needed.
- Collaborate with construction teams on new builds or renovations to ensure timely completion of electrical components.

Skills

- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.
- Proven experience as an industrial electrician with a solid understanding of electrical codes and safety regulations.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment essential for electrical work.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects with a focus on electrical systems.
- Knowledge of low voltage systems such as security alarms, communication wiring, or fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) used in automation environments.
- Excellent handyman skills with the ability to perform minor repairs or adjustments across various trades related to electrical work.
