About The Role
As a Junior Developer, you'll support the development and delivery of data and analytics solutions for our clients. You'll work alongside experienced team members to build reports, dashboards, and data-driven solutions while expanding your technical and consulting skills.
This is a full-time, entry-level position based in our hybrid work environment. The role includes structured onboarding, mentorship, and progressive responsibility as your technical and consulting skills develop.
This position is ideal for someone who is curious, dependable, comfortable asking questions, and motivated to learn how data can improve business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with building and maintaining end-to-end data and analytics solutions, including data preparation, data models, Power BI reports, dashboards, and related Microsoft Fabric or Azure components.
- Support testing and troubleshooting by documenting defects, validating fixes,
and escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate team member.
- Participate in project meetings and requirements-gathering sessions to understand client needs, document key information, and support assigned follow-up work.
- Create and maintain clear, accurate user and technical documentation that reflects the current solution and supports handoff, training, and ongoing maintenance.
- Learn and apply best practices for data preparation, modelling, visualization, testing, documentation, and
- Support internal initiatives, proofs of concept, and innovation projects that build reusable data and analytics capabilities or demonstrate current Microsoft technologies.
- Collaborate effectively by communicating progress, raising risks early, asking for support when needed, and following through on team commitments.
- Build your technical and consulting skills through project work, feedback, structured learning, and ongoing development in Microsoft data and analytics technologies.
Qualifications And Experience
- Required
- Diploma or degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Development, Data Analytics, Business Technology Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in data, analytics, and technology.
- Basic understanding of programming concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work collaboratively, ask for guidance when needed, and take increasing ownership of assigned work.
- Nice to Have
- Exposure to Power BI, SQL, Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure.
- Experience with academic, personal, or volunteer technology projects.
- Familiarity with databases, reporting tools, or data analysis concepts.
- Experience with Python, SQL, JavaScript, C#, or another programming language.
- Microsoft certifications or relevant coursework.
