Saervo Consulting helps nonprofit and community organizations find the right funding and write competitive grant applications. We are building a bench of grant writers to support a growing client roster, and we are looking for an early-career writer to take on projects on a per-application basis.

This is a contract role paid per project, not a salaried or hourly position. It suits someone who wants real grant-writing experience, published wins for their portfolio, and flexible project-based work.

What you will do

- Research funding opportunities and confirm client eligibility before drafting
- Draft clear, well-structured grant proposals aligned to funder priorities
- Prepare supporting budgets and application materials
- Coordinate application requirements and deadlines with the Saervo team

What we are looking for

- Robust, clear writing and the ability to make a logical case a reviewer can follow
- Comfort with research and reading funder guidelines closely




- Organized and deadline-reliable
- Interest in the Canadian nonprofit and grant funding landscape
- Prior grant-writing, proposal, or nonprofit experience is an asset but not required. We will consider strong writers early in their careers.

Compensation and logistics

- Paid per project
- Fully remote, work on your own schedule around deadlines
- Project volume varies with client demand
