Toronto

What is the opportunity?

We are a firm that does things a little differently. This is your chance to join our high-calibre, experienced group of professionals on a mission to re-imagine the future by changing the way that buildings are conceived and constructed.

Entuitive is looking for an IT Desktop Support Specialist based out of our Toronto office. We are passionate about our work and the talented individuals that get to deliver complex projects on a regular basis.

We're looking for a Junior IT Support Specialist to join our internal IT team in Toronto. This is a hands-on, front-line role for someone who genuinely enjoys solving technical problems and helping people — you'll be the friendly first point of contact when a colleague's laptop won't connect, an app needs troubleshooting, or a new hire needs to be set up on day one. You'll work alongside our Intermediate and Senior IT staff, learning our environment (Microsoft 365, ManageEngine endpoint management, FortiClient/FortiGate networking, and more) while building the foundation for a long-term career in IT.

We invest in our IT team's growth: this role has a clear path toward Intermediate IT Support as you develop.

What will you do?

- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests from staff across our Toronto to Vancouver offices, via our ticketing system, phone, and in person.
- Set-up computer equipment for employee use, ensuring proper wiring setup, software configuration, and user orientation.

- Troubleshoot day-to-day hardware, software, printer, peripheral, and mobile device (iOS/Android) issues, escalating complex cases to Intermediate/Senior IT staff when needed.
- Monitor and action helpdesk tickets and technical requests from staff in a timely manner ensuring to escalate issues as required.
- Image, configure, and deploy laptops and desktops using our standard corporate image and endpoint management tools.
- Support new hire onboarding and departure offboarding — account setup, hardware provisioning, and access changes.
- Assist users with Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive) and basic Windows 10/11 issues.
- Help troubleshoot Wi-Fi and VPN connectivity, and support basic networking needs in the office.
- Keep accurate,

timely documentation of tickets, assets, and resolutions, and follow defined SLAs for response and resolution.
- Follow and help refine checklists and best practices for common, recurring support tasks.
- Take on other IT support duties as assigned as our team and technology environment grow.
- Resolve hardware issues, including replacing parts or coordinating full replacements and back-up systems as needed to minimize downtime for our employees.

Requirements

What do you need to succeed?

- 1-2 years of experience in a technical support, help desk, or IT co-op/internship role.
- Post-secondary education or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Working knowledge of Windows 10/11 in a business environment, plus the Microsoft 365 suite.
- Comfort troubleshooting desktop/laptop hardware, printers, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- A basic understanding of core networking concepts (TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a genuine customer-service mindset — this is a people-facing role.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to juggle multiple requests in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
- A self-motivated, curious approach and real enthusiasm for technology.
- Exceptionally strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Exceptional customer service capability with the proven ability to interact professionally with all levels of employees within an organization while building strong working relationships.
- Flexible, positive, and organized, able to work independently as well as within the team.
