Posting Description Business Line: CHES Special Risk Hours Per Week: 35 (Full time) Full-Time, Permanent Position, Current Vacancy In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives. Your key responsibilities will be to maintain existing Renewals and develop new business with our Binder markets, and recruiting and grow the SME Team Market specialist products, services, and approach to business throughout the regional marketplace Introduce new products to market, including development and delivery of product presentations to all Develop and implement regional marketing plan Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers Market products and services, at customer conferences and trade shows Acquire and maintain senior level underwriting skills Underwrite and negotiate renewal of more complex accounts Post-graduate degree or certification Minimum 5 years of commercial property and casualty underwriting experience Demonstrable sales and marketing experience Experience/exposure to financial management methods, the nature of insurance risk and reinsurance costs, underwriting, claims underwriting and reinsurance Demonstrable proficiency in underwriting basic to moderately complex books of commercial property and casualty products, including underwriting coverage, pricing, production and delivery, risk management and managing local brokerage plans Who We Are – CHES Special Risk Inc.
