Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Welder to join our agile manufacturing team. In this entry-level role, you'll gain hands-on experience in welding and fabrication processes, supporting the creation of high-quality metal components and assemblies. Responsibilities

- Assist with welding tasks using MIG (Metal Inert Gas) techniques under supervision, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately assemble metal parts
- Operate hand tools, power tools, plasma cutters, press brake machines, and other fabrication equipment with precision
- Support the rigging, assembly, and installation of ductwork, mechanical components, or structural elements as required
- Use calipers and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and ensure parts meet specifications




- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Collaborate with team members on machining, welding, and assembly tasks to meet project deadlines

Skills

- Basic knowledge of welding techniques including MIG
- Mechanical aptitude with understanding of schematics, blueprints and technical drawings
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, plasma cutting equipment, and press brake machines
- Ability to read measurements and perform basic math calculations for fabrication tasks
- Strong attention to detail with excellent hand-eye coordination
- Ability to follow safety guidelines diligently in a manufacturing setting

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
