Responsibilities

- Lead engaging karate classes tailored to different age groups and skill levels, ensuring all students are motivated and challenged.
- Teach fundamental karate techniques, including stances, strikes, blocks, and kata (forms), with explicit demonstrations and step-by-step guidance.
- Promote safety protocols during training sessions to prevent injuries and ensure a secure learning environment.
- Foster a positive, inclusive atmosphere that encourages respect, discipline, and personal growth among students.
- Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and motivate students to achieve their belt ranks and personal goals.




- Organize and supervise sparring sessions or drills that enhance technique application while maintaining safety standards.
- Support administrative tasks such as class scheduling, student attendance tracking, and maintaining training equipment.

Experience

- Proven experience teaching martial arts or similar physical activity classes with a focus on discipline and motivation.
- Strong knowledge of karate techniques, forms, and training methodologies suitable for various age groups.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct students of diverse backgrounds and skill levels.
- Ability to demonstrate proper technique clearly while providing constructive feedback to promote improvement.
- Prior experience working with children or youth is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for teaching is essential.
- Basic understanding of safety procedures related to physical activity instruction is necessary.
- Certification in martial arts teaching or relevant first aid/CPR certification is a plus but not mandatory.
