Key Account Manager – Business Development – Canada
Mississauga, Ontario | Full-Time | Onsite (No Remote Work)
Work Location: 5155 Spectrum Way, Unit 11, Mississauga, Ontario, L5W 5A1
Compensation
Base Salary: $65,000 – $70,000 CAD annually ($31.25 – $33.65 per hour)
On-Target Earnings (OTE): $95,000 – $125,000 CAD annually (inclusive of base salary, commission, and incentives)
Commission: Uncapped, earned on qualifying invoices in accordance with the Company’s written commission plan
Incentives: Weekly sales incentives available

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager – Business Development to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario. This is a full-time, onsite-only position focused on business-to-business (B2B) sales targeting distributors, name brands, and multi-state or vertically integrated operators. The successful candidate will drive new business, grow and retain key accounts, and represent iKrusher across the Canadian market.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop and acquire new key accounts through lead generation, cold calling, and strategic outreach.
- Build and maintain a solid sales pipeline while achieving monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
- Close new business deals and provide tailored solutions to meet client needs.
- Establish and foster long-term professional relationships with key accounts.
- Understand client needs and offer customized merchandising and solutions.
- Address customer concerns and resolve issues effectively and promptly.
- Monitor industry trends and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Provide regular progress updates and detailed work plans to leadership.
- Travel locally and across Canada for meetings and trade shows as required.
- Abide by all company safety policies.
- Perform additional duties that may be assigned by leadership.
- Availability for on-site work Monday–Friday during standard business hours (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST).
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of B2B sales, business development, or key account management experience.
- Proven track record in acquiring and closing recent business deals.
- Demonstrated experience managing high-level customer accounts.
- Strong business judgment and negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in computer systems and sales software.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and results-driven.
- Consultative, customer-centric problem solver.
- Knowledge of Canadian vaping product regulations and the excise stamp process is a plus.
- Willingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours to accommodate client schedules, subject to the hours-of-work and overtime provisions of the Ontario Employment Standards Act, 2000.
