Role Description As a Keyholder at Tilley, this part-time, on-site role in Victoria, BC is responsible for supporting daily store operations and ensuring an excellent customer experience.

Key responsibilities include opening and closing the store, securing premises, and handling cash and point-of-sale procedures. The Keyholder assists customers by providing knowledgeable product guidance, fitting hats and apparel, and recommending solutions that match their outdoor and everyday needs. This role also supports visual merchandising, restocking, maintaining store cleanliness,



and helping lead the team on the sales floor in the absence of store leadership.

The Keyholder works collaboratively with colleagues to meet sales targets and uphold Tilley’s brand standards.

Qualifications

- Robust Retail Sales and Customer Service skills, with a focus on building positive Customer Experience.
- Solid Product Knowledge in apparel and accessories, with the ability to communicate features and benefits clearly.
- Effective Communication skills, including active listening and clear, respectful interaction with customers and teammates.
- Previous experience in keyholder or supervisory responsibilities, such as opening/closing procedures and cash handling.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage multiple tasks, and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Comfort using point-of-sale systems and basic technology tools.
- Interest in outdoor lifestyles, fashion, or performance apparel is an asset.
- Prior retail experience in apparel or accessories is preferred.
