Responsibilities

- Ensure all dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized according to health standards.
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks, such as organizing ingredients and setting up workstations.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste properly throughout your shift.
- Support the organization of supplies and ensure proper storage of food items in accordance with safety protocols.
- Follow food handling procedures carefully to uphold hygiene standards and prevent contamination.
- Help with dish stacking, drying,



and storing items efficiently to facilitate smooth kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service delivery and uphold a welcoming atmosphere for staff and guests alike.

Qualifications

- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food safety standards is a plus.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy and efficiency.
- Strong attention to detail when handling food, cleaning supplies, and equipment.
- Good communication skills and a team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.
- Experience with food handling or hotel service roles can be advantageous but is not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
