Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and standards
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Handle food safely during storage, handling, and serving to prevent contamination
- Support meal service by plating dishes efficiently and accurately for timely delivery
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when restocking is needed




- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working setting for everyone

Experience

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated learners
- Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety standards within the food industry
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
- Experience with meal preparation, food service, or kitchen operations will be considered an asset
