Overview

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen / Production Assistant to join our fresh pasta production team.

This position supports the daily production, preparation, packaging, and organization of pasta products. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced food production environment, following recipes and production instructions, handling ingredients and finished products, and maintaining a clean and organized work area.

You will work as part of a small production team. Training will be provided on our production procedures and equipment.

This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, positive organization, teamwork, and the ability to perform repetitive and physical throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

- Assist with the daily production of fresh and frozen products.
- Measure, weigh, and prepare ingredients according to established recipes and production requirements.
- Assist with mixing, rolling, cutting, extruding, filling dough.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations, utensils, and equipment throughout shifts.
- Follow proper food storage practices, including labeling and rotating stock to prevent spoilage.




- Maintain organized refrigerators, freezers, storage areas, and production stations.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by communicating effectively and assisting colleagues as required.

Qualifications

- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Previous experience in a food service setting is preferred
- Enthusiasm for learning is key
- Ability to handle food responsibly, including proper hygiene practices and safe food handling procedures.
- Strong teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward supporting the kitchen’s operations
- Basic understanding of the food industry’s standards for cleanliness and safety

Pay: From $18.60 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 – 40.0 per week
