Responsibilities

- Ensure all kitchen and food service areas are kept impeccably clean and sanitized according to health standards
- Handle dishwashing duties efficiently, including washing, drying, and storing utensils, cookware, and dishware
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under the supervision of chefs or kitchen managers
- Support the organization of kitchen supplies, utensils, and cleaning materials for easy access and inventory control
- Follow proper food handling procedures to maintain safety and hygiene standards at all times
- Contribute to maintaining a tidy work environment by regularly cleaning floors, surfaces, and equipment




- Support the overall flow of food service operations by assisting with serving guests when needed

Skills

- Proven experience in restaurant or hospitality environments with knowledge of food service operations
- Strong understanding of cleaning protocols and sanitation practices within a kitchen setting
- Experience with food handling, preparation, and basic cooking techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards supporting colleagues and guests
- Knowledge of hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Good physical stamina for standing long periods, lifting supplies, and performing manual tasks
