Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and dependable class 1 Long Combination Vehicle (LCV) Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating long commercial vehicles to transport freight efficiently across designated routes. Your expertise in commercial driving, heavy equipment operation, and automotive repair will ensure timely deliveries and excellent service.

Duties

- Safely operate LCV long commercial vehicles to deliver trailers to yard locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Hook and drop
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips, identifying any mechanical issues or safety concerns
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, transportation documentation, and freight records
- Assist with minor automotive repairs or troubleshooting as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition
- Coordinate dispatchers to plan efficient routes and delivery schedules




- Follow all safety protocols during vehicle operation, loading/unloading processes, and while working around heavy equipment

Experience

- Proven 2 years experience in commercial driving with a valid driver’s class 1 license suitable for operating long combination vehicle
- No violations or tickets in last 2 years
- No LCV experience needed of dont have. We will train and get licensed LCV free
- Scheduled Team run from Edmonton to Winnipeg than back Edmonton
- Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and basic automotive repair skills
- Familiarity with transportation regulations, safety standards, and route planning software is preferred
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members
