Join BCER as the Energy Project Assessment Lead and oversee renewable energy project reviews in all BCER locations. This role emphasizes stakeholder engagement and operational oversight for diverse projects. In this temporary full time position, you will coordinate end-to-end project reviews for energy and transmission line proposals.
Your expertise will ensure clarity of expectations and effective communication among stakeholders throughout the project assessment process. You'll play an essential role in managing Indigenous consultation, permitting, and emerging complex issues. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate comprehensive project reviews and timings
- Track progress and report risks to senior leadership
- Manage technical documents and correspondence
- Facilitate engagement with Indigenous Nations
- Present assessments and impact analyses to leadership Requirements:
- Degree or diploma in Natural Resource Management
- 5+ years of experience in related fields
- Proven track record in multi-stakeholder project coordination
- Strong relationship skills with First Nations
- Experience in regulatory frameworks and energy sector preferred Utilize your project management skills and Indigenous relations expertise to advance renewable energy initiatives.
