Hourly Wage: $18.63 plus significant gratuities

Job Summary:

Working closely with the Conference Services team to ensure all event requirements are completed accurately and on time.

Banquet Porter Lead Hand Responsibilities:

- Lead, direct, assign, inspect, and evaluate the daily Banquet Porter team assignments to ensure efficient and effective service.
- Coordinate and delegate daily tasks, ensuring the team is properly prepared for event setups, service, and breakdowns.
- Oversee room setups, storage and service areas, cleanliness, and event décor.
- Assist and provide hands-on support to the Porter team as required during setups, events, and breakdowns.
- Ensure Porters follow all health, safety, sanitation, and company standards.




- Provide guidance and support to team members and communicate operational concerns to the Supervisor/Manager.
- Other duties as assigned.

What you’ll need as a Banquet Porter Lead Hand:

- Porter experience required; previous Lead Hand or leadership experience preferred.
- Ability to provide direction and delegate tasks to team members.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work cooperatively within a team setting.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job (i.e., lift up to 50 lbs).
- Smart Serve Certification required.
- Must be able to work all shifts including weekends and holidays.
