Norton Rose Fulbright Canada LLP is currently seeking a highly organized and detail-orientated Legal Assistant to work with our Business Group in the Ottawa Office. This position will appeal to candidates who enjoy a busy and challenging position in an office with a outstanding culture. Independently manage and organize the daily operations of four lawyers in our Business Law Group.

Assist with the preparation and finalization of closing agendas and all transactional documents relating to corporate transactions. Edit, format, draft and revise agreements, letters memos, reports, forms, labels and other printed material. Maintain lawyers’ calendars, including coordinating travel arrangements and tracking deadlines.

Provide general administrative assistance, such as responding to client inquiries, receiving incoming mail, handling courier requests and maintaining client file lists. 4 days a week in office - Ottawa Office Minimum of five years of experience as a legal assistant, preferably in Business Law - Corporate, Commercial experience. Diploma from a Legal Assistant,



Law Clerk or Paralegal program would be considered an asset. Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in French would be considered an asset.
