Voyage Childcare Center is now hiring a dynamic and experienced Lead Educators, coverage and Seasonal Educators for multiple classrooms including:

Must have a Level 3 Childcare Certificate

Flexible, enthusiastic and passionate about working with children of diverse backgrounds and needs.

Position Description Summary

· Responsible for ensuring a safe setting for children while promoting the development of social, emotional, cognitive, and physical skills.

· Plan and implement and supervise a variety of activities for the children.

· Interact with the children, taking part in active play activities.

· Attend to children’s personal needs: Change diapers, give bottles, and serve meals to the children

· Ensure the safety and well-being of children, through supervision of activities.

· Ensure cleanliness of room, toys and materials used in the classroom.

· Provide parent communication (child’s activities/behaviors for time in daycare).

Qualifications:

Knowledge:





- Knowledge of "Learning Through Play" philosophy.
- Knowledge of child developmental stages.
- Knowledge of childhood diseases/health issues.
- Knowledge of activity programming.

Other:

- Behavioral or disability training is an asset.
- We provide on site training and outsourced.
- Positive teamwork environment.

Job Type: multiple positions (part-time, full-time and casual) Salary: $17.00 per hour plus government top up.
