Join the dedicated team at the City of Woodstock as a Licensed Mechanic. This permanent role focuses on maintaining and repairing city fleet vehicles through hands-on mechanical services. Reporting to the Fleet Services Manager, you’ll leverage your 310T or 310S license to diagnose and repair vehicle issues effectively.
Key responsibilities include using OEM software for diagnostic work, performing safety inspections, and ensuring city equipment is operational. Collaboration with fellow mechanics is essential to deliver excellent service. Key Responsibilities:
- Repair various city vehicles and specialized equipment
- Utilize technical manuals for service guidance
- Conduct emergency repairs as needed
- Maintain complete safety inspection documentation
- Facilitate service and parts procurement Requirements:
- Grade 12 diploma or GED with preference for further education
- Valid 310T and 310S licenses required
- DZ driver’s license in good standing
- Solid knowledge of engine and electronic systems
- Ability to perform physical tasks in garage environments Support local infrastructure through effective vehicle maintenance.
