Feehely Gastaldi is a busy law firm practicing in Simcoe County and surrounding regions. We practice Residential & Commercial Real Estate, Wills & Estates, Corporate Law, Municipal Law, Employment Law and Civil Litigation.

We are looking for an experienced Litigation Law Clerk to join our busy practice on a full-time basis at our Tottenham Office.

The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of experience. In this position, the candidate will assist lawyers in various legal tasks, including document preparation and case management. Experience in civil litigation is required. Solid organizational skills, a willingness to learn, and the ability to manage multiple files effectively are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

· Knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure, Case Center court procedures and Ontario Land Tribunal administrative procedures.

· Possess Law Clerk or Legal Assistant diploma or certificate from a recognized institution in Ontario;

· Familiarity with court documents and court filings tools; including JSO and OCPP portals.

· Excellent writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence.





· Able to proofread documents to ensure accuracy.

· Proficient in file management with a keen eye for detail.

Responsibilities

· Draft, proofread, and edit legal documents.

· Proficiency in use of Case Center and dealing with various Ontario Court portals.

· Manage timelines and deadlines to ensure timely completion of tasks.

· Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.

· Prepare and organize documentation, including reporting and billing.

· Experience with Soluno (law accounting software) would be an asset.

· Work with lawyers and other staff on multiple files.

· Strong communication skills and ability to work with confidential information.
