Job Overview
WE’RE HIRING: LOCAL DISPATCHER
JNB Heavy Haul is looking for a full time Dispatcher to join our team at our office in Harrietsfield, Nova Scotia.
The successful candidate will
- Coordinate the movement of cargo with customers, drivers and carriers
- Communicate with and support drivers and carriers throughout their daily travels
- Assist with current customers and provide sales support
- Work confidently in a busy, fast-paced environment
- Be comfortable using dispatch software, email, Excel, Word and PDF programs
Experience in the trucking industry is strongly preferred. Knowledge of heavy-haul dispatching, permitting and routing would be considered an asset.
