POSITION SUMMARY:

The Logistics Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the logistics department, ensuring the efficient movement of materials, finished goods, and supplies. This role involves coordinating the logistics schedule, managing dispatch activities, optimizing transportation, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

The Logistic

Supervisor will play a critical role in employee development and training, building departments SOP’s, as well as ensuring ERP data integrity. This individual will work closely with suppliers, carriers, production leads, Manufacturing Manager, and other internal teams to drive efficiency and cost savings while maintaining high service levels in the logistics department.

POSITION TITLE: Logistics Manager – $35.00/hr

REPORTS TO: Presidents

P.P.E’s: Safety boots/shoes, safety glasses/side shields for prescriptions, Ear Plugs, safety vest or company Uniform.

Duties would include but not limited to being able to work and have working knowledge of the following:

- Ensure all deliveries are completed in full and meet delivery timelines.
- Responsible for adhering to and executing on schedule and ensuring the ERP system accurately reflects delivery status.
- Ensure warehouse structure including set up, organization, product planning and tracking as well as overall warehouse shipping area safety and cleanliness is upkept.
- Develop and implement process improvements to streamline operations. Create department plans to ensure product is transferred, stored and shipped to site safely,



efficiently and including all possible details.
- Responsible for dispatching and scheduling the fleet and optimizing transportation routes to minimize costs and improve efficiency.
- Manager relationships with clients and team.
- Ensure proper documentation and tracking of shipments.
- Responsible for managing the logistics schedule, ensuring hours of work are in compliance with company policy and transportation legislation.
- Ensure orders are picked and staged in a timely manner and liaise with production on any missing components.
- Ensure compliance with transportation laws, safety regulations and company policies.
- Oversee the servicing of vehicles, upkeep, maintenance and cleanliness.
- Maintain strong & timely communication with all internal and external departments
- Manage employee admin and performance within the department with assistance from HR.
- This position requires hands-on. Get in and get the job done when required.

Experience:

- 3 Years Experience in Logistics, supply chain or warehouse management.
- Experience in managing teams and coordinating logistics operations.
- Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, warehousing and inventory management.
- Proficiency in logistic software and Microsoft office.
- Experience utilizing ERP.
- Excellent organizational, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced ever-changing setting.

Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday 7:00a.m. to 3:30p.m. with ability to extend depending on client requirements and trucks loading to next day trips.

Compensation: $35hr – 2 week s vacation – benefits at no cost to employees after 3 months.
