Team as a Machine Operator/Painter at Epiroc!

The Machine

Operator is responsible for operating, setting up, and maintaining CNC and manual machining equipment to safely and efficiently produce high-quality components that meet customer specifications and company production standards. This role works closely with fabrication, assembly, material handling, planning, and engineering teams to support production requirements, maintain workflow, and achieve operational objectives while adhering to safety, quality,



and continuous improvement initiatives.

Shift Timings: 2nd shift with 1 openings Identify safety hazards, recommend corrective actions, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that promote a protected workplace. Review job orders and retrieve required materials from the yard. Operate production equipment, including: Multi-head CNC Plasma/Oxy-Fuel ESAB Burn Table, general fabrication equipment, forklifts, and overhead cranes.

Work with CNC programmers to maximize material utilization, nesting efficiency, and production throughput. Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on equipment and workstations. Move raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products between departments as required.

Complete and maintain production documentation to ensure jobs are processed according to company standards. Enter, track, and scan job orders within the company's computer systems as required. Support 5S initiatives, lean manufacturing programs, productivity improvements, and key performance metrics.

Assist paint operations and support paint booth activities as needed. Adhere to all safety, health, and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations. Attend required meetings, training programs, and safety sessions.

High School

Diploma or GED. ~3 to 5 years of manufacturing or heavy equipment experience.



~ Forklift and overhead crane experience. ~ Experience with fabrication equipment such as radial arm drills, rollers, and saws. General computer proficiency. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
